In 2007, George J. Su established Watching Studio in Shanghai. It was a professional recording facility built with a fully floating structure, designed specifically for music production and audio post-production. The studio’s acoustic system used modular materials provided by SE Company, while the floors and lounge walls were crafted from reclaimed wood salvaged from historic buildings, adding both acoustic quality and a sense of heritage. Watching Studio quickly earned a reputation as one of the most respected recording studios in Shanghai, known for its excellence in sound. In 2020, the studio was dismantled after the original location was reassigned for another use, quietly marking the end of a significant and creatively vibrant era.
